Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Case Management Duration: 26 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 Experience: Minimum of 2 years of acute care experience is required. First-timers accepted, contingent on clinical approval. Travel experience is required. License: Valid state license is required. Certifications: Relevant certifications in case management are preferred. Must-Have: Experience with HMOs, IPAs, advance directives, and protective services processes is required. Experience with Epic charting system is required. Description: This position requires a registered nurse with expertise in case management. The role involves managing patient care coordination and facilitating discharge planning. Candidates must have experience in appeals and denials processes and benefits eligibility. Knowledge of HIPAA guidelines and CMS regulations is essential. The registered nurse will work with a diverse patient demographic, including adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics. Candidates must be able to float to meet department needs based on demand. Weekend work is required, specifically every other weekend. The successful candidate will exhibit excellent communication skills and be able to work on a multidisciplinary team.
