Respiratory Therapist NICU PEDS RRT

Sign on bonus up to $30,000 may be available. Job Summary Staff respiratory therapist responsible for demonstrating proficiency in all modalities of Respiratory Care with additional competency in NICU and pediatric patient care. Performs assignments in compliance with hospital and respiratory policies. May work with Respiratory Students in the clinical care setting. Qualifications Graduated from an accredited school for Respiratory Care, recognized by the NBRC. One year experience in Respiratory Care and documented training in NICU and/or Pediatrics required. Registered as a CRT or RRT by NBRC upon hire. Licensed by the Texas Medical Board as a Respiratory Care Practitioner. Current American Heart Association or American Red Cross BLS provider required. PALS certification required within 30 days of hire. NRP certification required within 90 days of hire. ACLS preferred (requirements are facility-based).
