Operating Room Registered Nurse (RN)
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in the Operating Room to join our team. This role is vital in providing high-quality surgical care to patients and supporting the surgical team during procedures.
Position Details
- Unit: Surgical General Main, 1st Floor
- Shift: Day shift, 3x12-hour rotations (09:00 - 21:30)
- Start Date: As soon as possible
Responsibilities
- Preparing patients for surgical procedures, including assessments and verifying consent.
- Assisting surgical teams by providing necessary instruments and support during operations.
- Monitoring patient vitals and reactions during surgery.
- Maintaining a sterile environment to prevent infection.
- Collaborating with medical staff to ensure optimal patient care before, during, and after surgical procedures.
Qualifications
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- Previous experience in the Operating Room or similar setting preferred.
- Familiarity with EPIC charting system is a plus.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
