Key Responsibilities

  • Provide individualized therapy plans tailored to the unique needs of each client, conducting initial assessments that form the basis for treatment decisions.
  • Deliver evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy to individuals, groups, and families.
  • Actively engage in collaborative care with multidisciplinary teams, including support staff and other healthcare professionals, to ensure holistic treatment for all clients.
  • Maintain accurate and current clinical documentation following ethical guidelines and legal requirements, ensuring compliance with best practices in mental health care.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development through workshops, training sessions, and peer consultation, staying updated on the latest advances in mental health research and practices.
  • Facilitate workshops and group sessions focused on coping strategies, mental wellness, and personal growth, enhancing community engagement and support.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your clients will predominantly include individuals and families with limited access to mental health resources, facing challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance use issues. Special attention is given to culturally sensitive approaches, ensuring that care is tailored to the specific needs and backgrounds of each client. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in transforming lives and providing crucial support in navigating complex emotional landscapes.

Qualifications

  • Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a relevant field from an accredited institution.
  • Active and unrestricted LPC licensure in the state of Colorado is required.
  • A minimum of two years of counseling experience, ideally in a clinical setting, demonstrating a solid foundation in therapeutic practices.
  • A thorough understanding of legal and ethical standards pertaining to mental health practice.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with a commitment to establishing rapport with a diverse clientele.
  • Proven ability to work effectively as part of a team of healthcare professionals.
  • Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) software and documentation practices.

Preferred Experience

  • Specialization in family therapy, couples counseling, trauma-informed care, or substance use treatment is highly preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience in community outreach, advocacy, or public speaking.
  • A strong commitment to ongoing professional development and continuous improvement of clinical skills.

Compensation and Benefits

  • The competitive salary range for this position is USD 70,000 to 90,000 annually, commensurate with experience and caseload.
  • Comprehensive benefits package that includes dental, vision, and health insurance options.
  • Provision of malpractice insurance to support your practice and protect your professional interests.
  • Opportunities for client referrals, reducing your caseload burden.
