Direct Counsel is looking for a Senior Counsel with 7+ years of experience to join their Labor Management Relations Group . The candidate must be currently licensed to practice law in Oregon and have significant experience representing management in traditional labor matters .

The firm's attorneys partner closely with clients to provide practical, business focused legal counsel that minimizes risk while supporting organizational goals. 

This role will work directly with employers on a wide variety of labor and employment matters, including: 

• Collective bargaining negotiations, 

• Grievance administration, 

• Labor arbitrations, 

• Union organizing campaigns, 

• Employment counseling, 

• Labor issues arising in mergers, acquisitions

• Other corporate transactions. 

Our attorneys serve as trusted advisors to executives, in-house counsel, and human resources professionals across a broad range of industries, including:

• Hospitality, 

• Healthcare, 

• Manufacturing, 

• Transportation, 

• Construction, 

• Entertainment, 

• Real estate development.

The ideal candidate will have:

• Substantial experience advising employers on labor relations strategy, 

• Collective bargaining, grievance administration, labor arbitrations, union organizing campaigns, and day to day employment counseling. 

• Experience representing employers in administrative trials before the National Labor Relations Board is a plus.

• Strong writing, analytical, and client counseling skills are essential.

Compensation & Benefits

• Salary Range: $225,000 – $280,000 annually (commensurate with experience).
