Local Contract Nurse RN - CVOR - $76-81 per hour

WCS Healthcare Partners is seeking a local contract nurse RN CVOR for a local contract nursing job in New Brunswick, New Jersey. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: CVOR Discipline: RN Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours Employment Type: Local Contract WCS Healthcare is seeking an experienced CVOR Registered Nurse (RN) for a travel assignment supporting a high-acuity cardiovascular surgery program. The ideal candidate will have strong scrub and circulating experience in adult open-heart procedures and be comfortable working in a fast-paced surgical environment. Candidates with previous travel experience are highly preferred; however, strong first-time travelers will be considered. Job Function: Shift: 40 hrs | 4x10 Nights Provide direct perioperative nursing care for adult cardiovascular surgical patients Scrub and circulate complex CVOR procedures Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, perfusionists, and interdisciplinary surgical teams Monitor patient status throughout perioperative procedures and respond to emergent situations Maintain sterile technique and ensure compliance with safety protocols Document patient care accurately using EPIC charting system Float to Main OR when no CVOR cases are scheduled during the shift Job Requirements: Active NJ RN License or Compact License BLS Certification Minimum 3 years of CVOR RN experience Strong scrub experience in open-heart CVOR cases Experience circulating cardiovascular procedures Knowledge of: Impella devices HeartMate devices ECMO TAVR procedures CNOR Certification preferred Previous travel nursing experience preferred Previous charge nurse experience preferred Disclosure: The hourly rates and/or salaries listed may or may not reflect total compensation packages including bonus and fringe benefits, etc., nor are the advertisement(s) posted a guarantee of a certain compensation package for a position or bona fide offer of employment.
