Part-Time Title Clerk | $16 .00 per hour | Mon. - Thur. 10:00 am - 4:00 pm; Fri. 10:00 am - 3:00 pm | Work Environment:  Office

Job Description:

The Title Clerk processes vehicle titles, registrations, and ownership transfers accurately and on time while ensuring compliance with state requirements. This role reviews documents for completeness, resolves title discrepancies, maintains accurate records, and coordinates with customers, dealerships, lenders, and motor vehicle agencies to complete transactions.

Responsibilities:

• Process vehicle titles, registrations, and ownership transfers accurately and within required deadlines.
• Review title documents, bills of sale, lien releases, and odometer disclosures for completeness and accuracy.
• Prepare and submit required paperwork to motor vehicle agencies.
• Identify and resolve missing documents, title discrepancies, and outstanding liens.
• Coordinate with customers, dealerships, lenders, and auction representatives to obtain necessary documentation.
• Calculate and verify applicable title, registration, and transfer fees.
• Maintain organized records and update vehicle information in company systems.
• Track pending title transactions and follow up to prevent processing delays.
• Follow applicable state requirements and company procedures while protecting confidential information. 

Qualifications and Requirements:

• High School diploma or G.E.D.
• Prior experience processing auto titles 
• Working knowledge of MS Office Suites
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy 
• Background Check
• Drug Screen

If you are hired, your base salary will be determined based on factors such as individual skills, qualifications, experience, and geographic location. In addition, we also believe in the importance of pay equity and consider the internal equity of our current team members as a part of any final offer. Please keep in mind that the range mentioned above is the full base salary range for the role. Hiring at the maximum of the range would not be typical in order to allow for future & continued salary growth.
