Registered Nurse (RN)

This is a position for a Registered Nurse (RN) within a 30-bed inpatient unit dedicated to providing care for patients with malignant hematologic disorders. The unit is involved in stem cell transplant procedures and CAR-T cell infusions, alongside various research protocols.

Responsibilities

Deliver comprehensive nursing care to patients with hematologic disorders.
Administer stem cell transplants and CAR-T cell infusions, while following safety protocols.
Participate in clinical research protocols as required.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality patient care.

Patient Care Ratio

The nurse-to-patient ratio is structured to ensure optimal care:

Day and Evening Shifts: 1 RN to 3-4 patients
Night Shift: 1 RN to 5 patients

Shifts

Rotating schedule with every two-week shifts:

Day Shift: 07:00 AM - 11:30 PM
Night Shift: 11:00 PM - 07:30 AM

Qualifications

Minimum of 1 year experience in Bone Marrow Transplant (BMT) nursing.
Current ONS Chemotherapy/Biotherapy Provider card required.

Health and Professional Requirements

Applicants must meet the following health and professional credentials:

Valid nursing license and certification in the appropriate state.
Complete required health history documentation, including vaccinations and tests for COVID-19, MMR, Hepatitis B, Varicella, Tdap, and annual TB screenings.
Successful completion of background checks and other professional verifications.
