About This Role: As an Operating Room RN at Northeastern Vermont Regional Hospital, you will provide comprehensive perioperative nursing care across all phases of the surgical experience. This dynamic role requires versatility, as you will serve as a circulator, scrub nurse in our busy OR. In our critical access hospital setting, your contributions are highly visible and directly impact patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver perioperative nursing care across all surgical phases, including pre-op preparation, intraoperative care, and PACU recovery
• Function in multiple roles, including circulator, scrub nurse, to support safe and efficient surgical operations
• Ensure patient safety and clinical excellence through adherence to AORN standards, accurate documentation, and participation in surgical safety processes such as time-outs
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and the interdisciplinary team to deliver coordinated, high-quality patient care

Required Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited RN School of Nursing
• Current Vermont or multi-state RN license required
• Minimum of two years of perioperative experience required
• Current BLS and ACLS certification from the American Heart Association require
• Strong clinical judgment, communication, and critical thinking skills
• Ability to work across multiple perioperative roles
