Night Custodial Supervisor

Position: Night Custodial SupervisorSupervises night shift custodial staff and coordinates cleaning activities to ensure campus buildings are clean, safe, and ready for daily operations.Duties and Responsibilities:Assign and coordinate nightly cleaning tasks and work alongside staff as needed.Inspect work performed by custodians under their direct supervision to ensure established cleaning standards are met.Train staff on proper cleaning procedures and the safe use of equipment, chemicals, and supplies.Monitor staff attendance and ensure assigned duties are completed within scheduled work hours.Maintain adequate cleaning supplies and report equipment repair or replacement needs.Report maintenance issues, safety concerns, and any unusual conditions identified during the shift.Coordinate cleaning and setup needs for campus events and special activities.Assist the snow removal team as required.Address performance concerns and administer disciplinary actions in accordance with University policies.Communicate shift updates and outstanding issues to the Custodial Manager and incoming staff.Perform other duties as assigned.Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.About Iona/EEO Statement:Founded in 1940, Iona University is a private, Catholic, coeducational institution of learning in the tradition of the Edmund Rice Christian Brothers.
