Materials Receiver

The Materials Receiver position is intended to add value by assisting the Field Buyer with daily tasks including receiving all materials and maintaining accurate inventory of major material items on site. Responsibilities include coordinating deliveries, ensuring accurate material packing slips, distributing materials to proper site personnel, maintaining inventory control and storage, providing daily reports to onsite management, inspecting deliveries for damage and defects, coordinating with Expeditor and site management, uploading supporting documentation into Procore, tracking pre-turnover maintenance of permanent plant equipment, ensuring proper storage of materials according to vendor requirements, creating and maintaining an onsite subcontractor contact list, and providing backup support for the Onsite Purchaser. Any other duties as assigned.

Qualifications include knowledge of Microsoft Outlook and Excel, a minimum of one year of construction experience, and the ability to operate a forklift. Required knowledge, skills, and abilities include taking reasonable care of health and safety, proficiency in Microsoft Office, Excel, Outlook, Internet and Scheduling Software, effectively presenting information, knowledge of rigging and off-loading of materials, solving practical problems, and interpreting a variety of instructions.
