Senior Trust Tax Consultant

TAX SENIORA well-established, highly profitable regional CPA firm is seeking a Tax Senior to focus on estate and trust tax. The Senior will be responsible for the accurate and timely preparation of all clients' tax returns. Responsibilities:Conduct technical tax compliance and review and approve all tax returns and government tax examinations of varying complexities.Demonstrate expertise in advanced technical skills required for client advisory.Manage client service tasks and ensure assignments are completed within specified timelines and budgets.Stay informed about the qualifications of all tax staff members and assign tasks appropriately.Supervise tax staff and provide on-the-job training.Supervisory Responsibilities:Develop, coach, and train Semi-seniors and Staff accountants.Understand the qualifications of all Tax staff members for training and development purposes.Participate in reviews and evaluations of the Tax Department.Qualifications:2-5 years of experience in public accounting with a demonstrated progression in tax complexity, scope, and research. Experience in estate and trust tax preferred.Minimum of one (1) year supervising and directing tax preparers.Bachelor's degree in accounting required, Master's degree in taxation preferred.Preferably hold a current and valid certified public accountant's license.
