Registered Nurse - Medical Surgical, Telemetry, and Progressive Care Unit

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

7:00 PM - 7:30 AM (12-hour nights); 36 hours per week.

Job Description

The role requires a skilled Registered Nurse experienced in Medical/Surgical, Telemetry, and Progressive Care Unit specialties. Candidates must be comfortable working across all areas and possess the ability to work independently in a small facility setting. The patient population ranges from newborns to geriatrics, and experience in a rural facility is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to patients in Medical/Surgical, Telemetry, and PCU settings.
• Monitor cardiac rhythms and maintain accurate patient records.
• Work with a patient RN ratio of 5:1, with higher acuity patients requiring a 3:1 or 4:1 ratio.
• Support and assist with patient activities of daily living as needed.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• 3+ years of experience in PCU, Medical/Surgical, and Telemetry settings.
• Proven experience with basic dysrhythmia interpretation.
• Active New Hampshire RN license or compact license.
• American Heart Association BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Previous travel experience is highly preferred.
• Rural or small facility experience preferred.
• Candidate must have their own vehicle.
