We work with members throughout Wisconsin to find providers that fit each of their needs. Our goal is to help individuals be in more control of their own supports and to have a say in who is assisting them. This helps them to stay in their own homes as long as possible. We are seeking a dedicated, dependable caregiver to provide hands-on support for a wonderful woman in her home. This role is best suited for someone who is comfortable with full personal cares and enjoys building a meaningful, supportive relationship while maintaining a calm and structured environment. Responsibilities include assisting with all personal cares, such as bed baths and showers, transitions using a Hoyer lift, andadministering medications (G-tube and oral) as necessary. She requires consistent, attentive care throughout the day, including support with mobility, hygiene, and daily routines. No overnight shifts are required. In addition to her care needs, she is warm, playful, and loves to be around you! Especially through activities such as reading, watching movies, arts and crafts, and short outdoor walks. This role is also a great fit for someone interested in the medical field or who has prior healthcare experience, as it offers valuable hands-on exposure to skilled caregiving. The ideal candidate is patient, reliable, physically capable, and either experienced in caregiving or eager to learn, with a genuine passion for providing high-quality care. WHAT THE CLIENT LOVES THAT WE HOPE YOU DO TOO o Loves being read to, the more animated the better o Enjoys arts and crafts o Short outdoor walks to the park or sitting outside with you by her side o Disney movies o Nails and Hair Done SCHEDULE o 10-24 hours per week, mostly on weekdays o Open to Late Mornings, Afternoons, Evening shifts - No Overnights required o On-call and flexible scheduling options – you can collaborate with the family to create a schedule that works for everyone COMPENSATION o $17.00 per hour RESPONSIBILITIES As an In-Home Caregiver, you’ll play an important role in the persons daily routine and overall comfort. Responsibilities include: o Bathing - Bed Baths & Showers as necessary o Toileting - Diaper Changes o Dressing - As needed o Grooming - Hair styling & Teeth brushed, painting nails o Transfers - Using a Hoyer Lift o Repositioning as necessary o Meal Prep - G-Tube Feeding o Medication - through the G-Tube and one orally o Outings - The Donna Lexa community Art Center and specializes in helping people with all sorts of disabilities find positives way to express themselves.
