Step into a dynamic role serving as an itinerant therapist across multiple school sites, based from a central office. This contract opportunity, situated near Mount Airy, MD, provides the chance to support students and staff within Frederick County. The position runs from December 1 through June 4, working a full-time schedule from 8:00am to 3:00pm.

Bring your expertise as a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) or Licensed Clinical Social Worker-Clinical (LCSW-C) to foster positive change in school environments. Work closely with students, families, and educational teams to ensure every learner receives the necessary social, emotional, and psychological support.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Active LCPC or LCSW-C license in Maryland required
• Experience providing counseling, crisis intervention, or case management in a school or clinical setting
• Understanding of educational systems, IEP process, and multidisciplinary team collaboration
• Strong communication, organizational, and documentation abilities
• Flexibility to travel between multiple school sites as needed

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct clinical services including assessment, counseling, and crisis intervention to a diverse caseload of students
• Collaborate with school staff, families, and outside providers to develop and implement intervention and support plans
• Travel between school sites to provide comprehensive coverage and support
• Maintain timely and thorough records and reports in compliance with school district standards
• Participate in virtual meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary teams
