Tactical Security Officer – Loss Prevention GardaWorld Security Services is now hiring a Tactical Security Officer – Loss Prevention. The role requires at least five years of security experience and a baton, OC spray, and handcuff permit. Patrol indoor and outdoor areas in variable environments. Respond rapidly in critical situations. Read and write detailed reports. Enforce customer procedures, regulations, and standards. Patrol sensitive areas to spot suspicious activity. React quickly to threats or incidents. Detain and search individuals. Document incidents and actions taken. Respond to alarms and conduct on‑site checks. Collaborate with law enforcement during serious incidents. Ensure the safety and protection of individuals and property. Qualifications State security license and additional 32‑hour BSI Security training (additional training obtainable during the hiring process). High school diploma or GED. Authorized to work in the U.S. Minimum five years of security experience. 21+ years of age. Baton permit. OC spray permit. Handcuff permit. First aid certification (asset). Ability to stand and walk for the entire shift. Military, security, or law‑enforcement experience (preferred).
