Several discount programs (i.e. food & beverage, retail/rental, tickets, etc.) also available. Job Summary Killington/Pico Ski Resort is hiring a Tubing Park Team Lead. We're all about having a good time and experiencing all these mountains have to offer, while providing the best possible experience for our guests. The job of the Tubing Park Team Lead is to execute, train, and supervise tubing park staff on the proper, efficient, and courteous loading and unloading of our guests. To inspect, record and report the condition of all lift machinery. To provide maximum ticket security by ensuring each guest has a valid pass and to understand and promote KPSRP products and services. Join our team and work where you play! Summary of Key Responsibilities Responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following: Manage daily tubing park operations Troubleshoot lift and/or staffing issues Prepare staff schedules and execute time gathering tasks Collect daily lift reports and complete team leader reports Daily inspection and safe operation of lifts, gondolas, and or attractions Execute opening procedures, daily operations and closing procedures for Lift Operations Responsible for the safe loading and unloading of guests from an assigned lift Knowledgeably and efficiently administer emergency procedures including lift breakdowns, evacuation, fire, and accident reporting. Communicate to guests, when appropriate, the status of a lift breakdown Execute opening procedures, daily operations and closing procedures for Lift Access Operations Provide a safe and presentable lift area by maintaining snow/ice buildup, removing trash and litter, and keeping low clearance/portal areas marked and visible Using the tools provided remove excess snow/ice from lift areas including but limited to the load/unload areas, maze, and low clearance/portal areas Provide an active and efficient flow of guests through the maze Ensure ticket security by monitoring RFID gate access for validation of passes Excellent ongoing guest service Communicate and make quick decisions and be a source of knowledgeable information in dealing with guest needs or questions as they arise Perform other tasks as assigned Qualifications Basic Qualifications Experience in lift operations preferred Supervisory experience helpful Must be at least 18 years old Must be able to adhere to early morning starting times Must be available to work weekends and holidays Required Knowledge and Skills Experience in lift operations preferred Supervisory experience helpful Excellent attitude, self-motivating Excellent written and verbal communication skills Must be able to handle emergency situations effectively Superior guest service experience Adequate language skills and reasoning ability Adequate problem solving and troubleshooting skills Must be able to lift, pull, or push up to 50lbs repeatedly throughout the day Must be able to stand and walk for long periods of time throughout the day Must be able to work outside, in all weather conditions Intermediate Ski/Ride ability preferred Must lead by example (punctual, good listener, communicates effectively, friendly, hard worker) Equal Opportunity Statement It is the policy of Killington/Pico Ski Resort Partners, LLC to provide equal opportunity and employment to all staff and applicants.
