This, in turn, creates a lasting impact on the world around us.Job DescriptionThe Mechanical Designer supports industrial mechanical engineering projects by producing high‑quality design models and construction documents for process, piping, and mechanical systems. This role works closely with mechanical engineers and project teams to develop coordinated designs that meet project requirements, applicable codes, and client standardsKey Responsibilities: Develop mechanical design and layout drawings using Revit, Plant 3D, AutoCAD, or similar toolsPrepare plans, sections, details, isometrics, and schedules for industrial mechanical systems including piping, equipment layouts, and supportsCoordinate design models with mechanical engineers and other disciplinesIncorporate redlines, QA/QC comments, and design revisionsAssist with clash coordination and constructability reviewsMaintain organized project files and drawing setsSupport site visits, field verification, and as‑built documentation as required QualificationsYou are passionate about:Working collaboratively with others.Having ownership in the work you do.Using your talents to positively affect communities.You bring to the team:Associate degree in drafting, design, or related technical field (or equivalent experience)3+ years of mechanical design experience, preferably in industrial facilitiesStrong proficiency with Revit and/or Plant 3D; AutoCAD requiredProficient in utilizing Autodesk Forma for project executionWorking knowledge of HVAC, piping, and industrial construction practicesEffective communication and collaboration skills #LI-DD1Additional InformationOlsson specializes in engineering and design, client advisory services, planning, field services, and environmental.
