Leasing Specialist

Overview Providence Real Estate is seeking a full-time Leasing Specialist to join our team at The Preserve at Tampa Palms, a beautiful apartment community located in one of Tampa's most desirable areas. Compensation & Benefits This position offers competitive hourly pay of $20-$23 per hour plus leasing commissions , along with a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, disability coverage, and a 401(k) plan with immediate vesting. Responsibilities As a Leasing Specialist, you will be the face of the community and often the first person prospective residents meet. You\'ll help guide prospects through the leasing process, showcase apartment homes, and build lasting relationships with current residents. In this role, you\'ll assist with apartment tours, leasing activities, resident relations, lease administration, and daily office operations. Success in this position requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to create a welcoming experience for every visitor. Qualifications The ideal candidate will have a customer-focused mindset and a passion for sales and relationship building. Requirements High school diploma or equivalent At least two years of apartment leasing, residential leasing, or customer service experience preferred Strong sales, closing, and customer service skills Proficiency with Microsoft Office Reliable transportation Experience with Yardi, property management software, apartment communities, resident retention, and multifamily housing operations is a plus but not required. Schedule This is a full-time position with a schedule that typically includes Monday through Friday and most Saturdays. Team members who work Saturdays receive a weekday off to maintain work-life balance.
