MuleSoft Integration Support Engineer

Job Summary:

The MuleSoft Integration Support Engineer will be responsible for providing advanced production support for enterprise integration platforms, with a strong focus on MuleSoft and Azure Integration Services. This role supports custom API solutions, platform integrations, and system reliability within a retail ecommerce environment. The engineer will lead troubleshooting efforts, incident resolution, monitoring improvements, and operational stability for integration services.

Experience:

7-10+ Years (Mid to Senior Level)

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide advanced technical support for complex MuleSoft integration issues, including performance degradation and system errors

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve API, integration, and data flow issues across platforms

• Collaborate closely with development teams to identify root causes and implement permanent fixes

• Manage integrations with enterprise systems such as Salesforce and other internal platforms

• Lead initiatives to improve system reliability, availability, and end-user experience

• Proactively monitor systems using Dynatrace and Splunk to identify and remediate issues before user impact

• Handle major incidents, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective and preventive actions

• Improve monitoring, alerting, and operational processes to reduce outages and incident recurrence

• Manage day-to-day incident support, including daily health checks and follow-ups

• Escalate issues to appropriate teams when required and coordinate resolution efforts

• Assist with deployments and oversee cutover/move-over activities with minimal business disruption

• Identify and implement process improvements and best practices for support operations

Required Skills & Experience:

• 7-10+ years of hands-on experience with MuleSoft integration platforms

• Strong experience with Azure Integration Services (AIS)

• Solid understanding of REST APIs, API management, SSO, and LDAP

• Experience integrating with platforms such as Salesforce

• Proficiency with monitoring and troubleshooting tools including Dynatrace and Splunk

• Working knowledge of Python for automation and support activities

• Experience supporting integrations in Retail Ecommerce environments

• Strong incident management and production support experience
