Job Full Description

We are seeking an experienced Heavy Equipment Operator for one of our clients. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating a variety of machinery used in construction, mining, roadwork, and other industrial projects. Equipment includes bulldozers, excavators, loaders, cranes, and graders. Operators play a vital role in ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality project completion.

Key Responsibilities

Operate heavy machinery such as backhoes, bulldozers, excavators, and loaders
Inspect equipment before and after use to ensure proper functioning
Follow site plans, blueprints, and supervisor instructions to complete tasks accurately
Perform basic maintenance and report mechanical issues promptly
Adhere to safety protocols and wear appropriate PPE at all times
Load and unload materials and equipment safely
Coordinate tasks with team members to maintain workflow efficiency
Maintain accurate records of work performed and equipment usage

Required Skills & Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent
Proven experience operating heavy machinery
Strong understanding of safety regulations and procedures
Physical stamina and strength to handle long hours and heavy lifting
Ability to read and interpret technical documents and blueprints
