Position: Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant- Outpatient Orthopedics

Location: NovaCare Baltimore (Arbutus), Maryland

Schedule: Full Time

Compensation: $30.00- $36.00/ Hr.

Bonus: Up to a $3,000 bonus and indefinite student loan help available.

$3,000 sign on bonus available for full-time licensed physical therapist assistant (LPTA)

We are seeking a full-time physical therapist assistant (LPTA) for our outpatient industrial center. We offer general orthopedic services, including Functional Capacity Evaluations (FCEs), Post-Offer Employment Testing (POETs), and a fall prevention program. 

You must have your Maryland PTA license to begin. We are able to support PTAs of all experience levels with an onsite mentorship for new graduates available.

Schedule:  Monday 8-6:30P, Tuesday 8-2P, Thursday 8-6:30P, and Friday 8-2P

Responsibilities

• Responsible for patient care under the direction and supervision of a licensed physical therapist as mandated by State Practice Act.
• Implement, with minimal supervision, high quality physical therapy services for patients, caregivers and facilities in accordance with the principals and practices of physical therapy and with Select Medical policies and procedures
• Maintain positive level of interaction with centers and patients, and enhance and expand client relations with centers and their staff.

Qualifications

• College graduate of an accredited physical therapist assistant program
• Passed a national examination for PTAs certified by the CAPTE
• Valid state physical therapist assistant (PTA) license (or license in process)
• CPR certification
