About the Position

06400S - We're looking for an experienced Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to provide solo-provider coverage at a CAH in Eastern Montana. On assignment, you'll make excellent compensation and provide much needed holiday coverage to a community that will truly value your presence (Make 11k+ in this 7-day assignment!). This is an opportunity for a broad-scope of practice and significant clinical autonomy as you'll be providing Primary Care, ER & LTC coverage. RN support 24/7. Location: Eastern Montana

Job Type: 1099 Locum Tenens Contract

Date Range: December 23rd - December 30th, 2026

Job Specialties: Emergency Medicine, Hospitalist, Primary Care

Schedule:

• Clinic: Monday-Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm
• ER: 24/7 call
• LTC: rounding as needed

Compensation:

• $1545 daily regular rate
• $2317.50 daily holiday rate (applies to Christmas Day for this rotation)

Responsibilities:

• Patient Volume, ER: Averages 3-5 patients per week
• Patient Volume, Clinic: Average 3-5 patients per day
• LTC: volumes vary
• Staffing Mix: Solo-provider assignment, Nursing staff on-site 24/7
• Facility is equipped with Avera Emergency Telemedicine

Position Requirements:

• Active Physician Assistant (PA) or Nurse Practitioner (NP) license with the State of Montana
• ICEC, if applicable
• Active BLS, ACLS, PALS, ATLS
• Active DEA registration
• Excellent ER, Primary Care & Hospitalist skills required
• Minimum 2 years solo full-spectrum emergency experience
• Direct experience with medevac and patient care stabilization including intubations, chest tubes, and complicated airways; must have strong suturing skills
