Position Overview: The Collision Center Estimator is responsible for inspecting vehicle damage, preparing accurate repair estimates, and developing complete repair plans that support safe and proper vehicle repairs. This role serves as a liaison between customers, insurance companies, technicians, and production staff to ensure repairs are documented, approved, and completed according to OEM standards while delivering an exceptional customer experience. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and committed to repair quality, customer satisfaction, and accurate documentation.

We are a high-volume, non-DRP collision center focused on proper repairs, OEM procedures, strong documentation, and providing an excellent customer experience. We are looking for an estimator who understands that the job is more than writing an initial estimate—you must be able to develop a complete repair plan, communicate effectively with insurance companies and customers, and make sure all necessary repair operations are identified and documented.

Responsibilities:

• Perform complete vehicle damage assessments and develop accurate repair plans.
• Conduct repair blueprinting and identify all necessary repair operations before repairs begin.
• Write and negotiate supplements with insurance companies to ensure all required repairs are properly documented and compensated.
• Review insurance estimates and identify missing operations, procedures, scans, calibrations, and repair requirements.
• Ensure repair plans include all necessary mechanical, structural, refinish, and diagnostic operations.
• Communicate repair status updates and expectations to clients, Technicians and Sales Team.
• Explain repair recommendations, insurance coverages, and claim-related information to customers professionally and clearly.
• Maintain complete and accurate repair documentation throughout the repair cycle.
• Monitor repairs for compliance with OEM standards and quality requirements.
• Coordinate sublet repairs, diagnostic services, and calibration procedures as needed.
• Assist in resolving customer and insurance concerns promptly and professionally.
• Ensure repairs are safe, complete, and properly documented before vehicle delivery.

Qualifications:

• Previous collision estimating experience required.
• Proficient in CCC ONE estimating software.
• Strong understanding of OEM repair procedures and repair planning processes.
• Experience writing, documenting, and negotiating insurance supplements.
• Knowledge of collision repair operations and ADAS calibrations
• Ability to accurately identify required labor operations and repair procedures.
• Strong working knowledge of insurance claims and repair authorization processes.
• Ability to professionally advocate for proper vehicle repairs when working with insurance companies.
• Ability to explain repair processes, insurance coverage differences, and repair recommendations to customers.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple active repair files simultaneously.
• Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record preferred.
• Willing to submit and pass a pre-employment background and drug screen.
