What's your day like?

As a new Respiratory Therapist at Minden Medical Center on the 7A-7P shift, you can expect a dynamic and engaging daily routine. Your schedule will include 36 hours in week one and 48 hours in week two, allowing you to immerse yourself in the rhythm of patient care. Daily tasks involve assessing and monitoring patients' respiratory and ventilatory needs, administering treatments, and providing education on respiratory health. You will collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams to develop patient care plans and respond to emergencies with prompt and decisive action. During each shift, you'll engage in hands-on procedures, utilizing cutting-edge technology to enhance patient outcomes.

Emphasis will be placed on empathetic communication, ensuring patients and their families feel informed and supported throughout their treatment. You will also participate in routine quality assurance checks and maintain accurate documentation of all clinical activities, reinforcing our commitment to safe and effective healthcare practices.
Are you the Respiratory Therapist 7A-7P we're looking for?

To thrive as a Respiratory Therapist at Minden Medical Center, candidates should possess a combination of technical skills and interpersonal qualities essential for effective patient care. Current Respiratory (LRT) licensure with the Louisiana State Board of Medical Examiners is required, ensuring you meet professional standards. While one year of acute hospital respiratory experience is preferred, we welcome new graduates eager to learn and grow within our supportive environment.
