Job Summary

The CSC Clerk Specialist serves as the primary coordinator of outgoing correspondence for the Customer Service Center (CSC), ensuring timely, accurate, and compliant processing and distribution of member and business communications. The role supports efficient CSC operations through management of departmental correspondence, inquiry routing, administrative processes, and customer service support activities. The position is responsible for a variety of functions that help ensure customer service work is distributed, processed, and communicated effectively.

This position is located in our Topeka, KS office.

What you'll do

• Manage all Customer Service outgoing, inter-office, and returned mail, ensuring compliance with SLA and LOS requirements. This includes Customer Service letters, Teleorders, 1095 tax forms, FEP returned mail, and live checks.
• Maintain departmental office supplies, inventory, and supply storage areas.
• Process and resolve departmental inquiry loading and routing, including B2 and Member Bad Address tickets, checking for FEP and SEHP misrouting, and member ID research
• Administer Authorizations for Release of Protected Health Information forms, including member profile updates, approvals, denials, and generating related member correspondence.
• Prepare and mail Customer Experience Care Cards
• Provide backup Call Director support, including answering and directing inbound calls, as assigned to meet operational requirements

What you'll need

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent required

Experience

• Minimum 1 years' experience administrative, clerical, customer service, mail processing, or office support role required
• Experience working with confidential information and maintaining data accuracy preferred

Travel

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• Strong communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Ability to effectively use various systems and tools commonly utilized within the department.
• Proficiency in grammar, spelling and writing are preferred.
• Self-motivated with the ability to use independent judgement for quick decisions.
