Operating Room Registered Nurse

The Operating Room Registered Nurse will provide care in a level II trauma center. Experience with a variety of surgical cases is required, including trauma, urology, podiatry, orthopedics, plastics, neurology, gynecology, endoscopies, ENT, thoracic, vascular, cardiovascular, bariatric, and DaVinci robotics. Evening shifts start at 3 PM. Participation in holiday coverage as scheduled is required. Rotational weekend coverage is included. On-call shifts will consist of 5-6 calls per 4-week period, including one weekend call, and must arrive within 30 minutes for weekday and weekend calls. Floating may be required within the specialty as needed. The nurse must be comfortable floating within the scope without restrictions. Previous charge experience is preferred. The position involves maintaining a robust knowledge of surgical procedures and equipment. Strong patient care and communication skills are vital for this role.
