Senior Electrical Distribution System Engineer

• Create and maintain comprehensive electrical system schematics from concept and pre-production through to completion, including wire selection, fusing, and grounding strategy.


• Perform schematic markups, test plan creation, and test report documentation.


• Conduct Design Verification of system schematics, including wire temperature analysis, voltage drop analysis, and fault scenario evaluation (short circuits, overloads, grounding issues).


• Design and document physical schematics for the overall vehicle system and its subsystems.


• Collaborate closely with component, system, and harness engineering teams to ensure accurate representation of system connections and interfaces.


• Actively participate in design reviews and provide technical input for system development.


• Maintain schematic documentation using industry-standard tools and ensure compliance with automotive standards and best practices.


• Possess a deep understanding of wire harness development and manufacturing processes.

Salary Range: $110,000-120,000

The actual salary offered is dependent on various factors including, but not limited to, location, the candidate’s combination of job-related knowledge, qualifications, skills, education, training, and experience
