Fuller Group, LLC is looking for a motivated individual interested in drafting of structural framing systems for commercial buildings across all sectors of the built environment. Fuller is a growing firm, located in Greenville, SC, with a relaxed office atmosphere in need of additional drafting support in order to fulfill the growing needs of our clients. This position can be full or part-time depending on the candidate. Structural Designer – Drafting Support Responsibilities: Perform drafting duties under the direction of the Project Engineer and/or Principal in Charge. Support the engineering team with CAD/Revit/BIM knowledge. Create framing and foundation plans independently with limited input from senior staff. Maintain project drawing files. Complete red line mark‑ups and address design comments. Organize and prepare a variety of complex layouts and drawings from written or verbal specifications or from rough detailed sketches. Use basic quantity and geometry calculations in creation of drawings. Work with the Project Engineer and/or Principal in Charge within project workflow to establish and maintain consistent graphic standards on individual assigned project established by the client, firm, and industry. Recommend details and notations to meet specialized needs of a particular project, or to facilitate or improve Revit/CAD productivity. Communicate with architectural clients as required to coordinate drafting standards and technical issues. Produce quality drawings on a consistent basis and within the constraints of a given project schedule and budget. Qualifications Associate of Science Degree in engineering or related field. Advanced understanding of Revit and AutoCAD, including custom Revit families, templates, ACC, etc. Knowledge of primary building systems on commercial projects (foundations, floors, walls, ceilings, roof systems) and basic coordination with mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems. Experience with structural components and building elements, capable of layout and detailing in AutoCAD/Revit. Ability to work cooperatively and collaboratively with all levels of employees, management, and clients. Organizational skills, prioritization, attention to detail, and the ability to follow up with minimal supervision. Licensed Structural Engineer – Project Engineer/Project Management Responsibilities: Perform structural design calculations for wood, concrete, steel, and masonry structures. Manage assigned projects from schematic design through construction. Attend kick‑off and design review meetings. Use engineering software such as RAM, Risa, Adapt, Enercalc, and Revit. Utilize designers to prepare construction documents. Research code issues and coordinate with City, State, and County requirements regarding local code and design criteria. Conduct field work and surveys. Perform structural assessments and produce technical reports. Review drawings supplied by vendors, clients, and engineers/architects and recommend necessary changes (shop drawing review). Qualifications BSCE or MSCE degree in Civil or Structural Engineering. At least five years of experience. Licensed Professional Engineer. Strong written and oral communication skills. Experience with RAM, Risa, Adapt, Enercalc, and/or Revit is also a plus. Paid Holidays and vacation days. Civil/Structural Engineer – Envelope Division Responsibilities: Perform forensic evaluations for residential and commercial facilities and other structures. Perform structural engineering analysis of existing buildings. Serve as expert witness and provide construction litigation support. Develop proposals for engineering services. Design repairs and assist in construction administration. Interface with existing and potential clients, including cultivating and maintaining relationships. Position Requirements Licensed Professional Engineer with at least four years of work experience. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills. Experience interpreting and applying building code requirements is essential. Willingness to conduct complex research to solve problems. Some travel will be required.
