Warehouse Forklift Driver - Weekend Nights

Salary: $20.75 plus Shift Differential $2 Schedule: Fri-Mon 5pm-3:30am Essential Functions All Material Handlers: Operates a lift truck by driving backwards and twisting to look in the direction of travel on a continual basis; Operates a lift truck all shift; Performs routine inspections and preventative maintenance on vehicles and auxiliary equipment such as cleaning or recharging batteries, and refers defects or repairs to supervisor/maintenance; Moves controls to drive battery-powered lift trucks and transports materials between loading, unloading, processing, and storage areas; Moves levers and controls that operate lifting devices such as forklifts, lift beams, swivel-hooks, hoists, and elevating platforms to load, unload, transport, and stack material; Positions lifting devices under, over, or around loaded pallets, skids, and boxes, and secures material or products for transport to designated areas; Manually loads or unloads materials onto or off pallets, skids, platforms, or lifting devices; Reliable attendance at scheduled shifts; Performs all duties in conformance to appropriate safety and security standards; Performs all other duties as assigned or needed. Unloader: Unloads products from inbound carriers (truck and rail cars); Verifies that the product received is identified and counted accurately; Inspects condition of all received product; Moves and places product safely and securely in its proper storage location. Preloader: Receives and reads preload orders; Fills orders by accurately picking product from storage and staging that product on a spot utilizing stacking guidelines; Inspects and loads trucks and arranges the products with the cube of the trailer according to recommended loading practices and guidelines; Uses scanning device and computer as needed to perform tasks; Checks printout for shortages, over‑counts and incorrect model numbers; Corrects shortages, over‑counts and incorrect models where possible. Truck Loader: Inspects trailers before loading products; Counts units on preload spot and compares with shipping documents; Moves products from the preload spot, and directly from storage when required, into the trailer; Arranges the products within the cube of the trailer according to recommended loading practices and guidelines; Properly secures the load for travel.
