Key Responsibilities of the Registered Nurse - Progressive Care Unit

• Conduct neuro and spinal checks
• Manage C-Collar placement and TLSO braces
• Administer IV infusions and manage the PCA pump
• Perform chest tube care and monitor lumber drains
• Place and maintain feeding tubes
• Conduct blood transfusions

Requirements of the Registered Nurse - Progressive Care Unit

• Current ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications
• Experience in neuro and trauma care
