Assistant Manager, Nursing (ANM)

The Assistant Manager, Nursing (ANM) supports the Nurse Manager in the supervision and coordination of nursing services within a designated patient care area. This role involves planning, providing, supervising, and documenting professional nursing care using the nursing process for patients in accordance with provider orders and established policies and procedures. The ANM plays a key role in promoting quality outcomes, staff development, operational efficiency, and a culture of excellence in patient and family-centered care.

Minimum Requirements

Education: Graduated from an accredited Nursing Diploma, Associate Degree in Nursing or Bachelor of Science in Nursing program, or higher. BSN preferred.

Licensure: Current unrestricted RN license required. American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required. Additional certifications (e.g., ACLS, PALS, NRP, CPI) may be required based on unit specialty.

Experience: Two to three years of clinical nursing experience. Specialty experience may be required based on unit/department (e.g., OR, ICU, ED). Previous leadership or charge nurse experience preferred.

Pay Range: Assistant Nurse Manager hourly range > $43.40 - $59.68. Final compensation is determined at the offer stage.
