Distribution Lead

Lead, coach, and motivate a distribution team of up to 30 warehouse associates. Act as a working lead, performing warehouse duties alongside the team. Coordinate daily workflow including picking, packing, shipping, and staging. Operate and oversee the safe use of Powered Industrial Trucks (PIT/forklifts). Monitor productivity, quality, and accuracy of work completed. Assign labor and adjust priorities to meet daily operational demands. Ensure compliance with safety policies, company procedures, and housekeeping standards. Train new and existing employees on processes, equipment, and safety requirements. Communicate staffing needs, performance issues, and operational concerns to management. Multitask effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume distribution environment.

Previous leadership experience in a warehouse or distribution environment. Strong working knowledge of PIT (Powered Industrial Truck) operation (optional but recommended). Proven experience using Microsoft Excel and SAP (tracking, reporting, basic data analysis). Ability to lead, delegate, and manage teams of up to 30 employees. Demonstrated ability to multitask and prioritize work in a dynamic environment. Strong communication and problem-solving skills. Willingness and ability to work mandatory overtime as required. Ability to work more than 8 hours per shift on a regular weekly basis.

Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout an extended shift. Ability to work in a warehouse environment with varying temperatures. Must be able to operate warehouse equipment safely. Scheduled shift: 8 hours per day. Overtime required; expected to work more than 8 hours weekly based on operational need.
