Staff Product ManagerLocation: New York, NYEmployment Type: Full-TimeCompensation: $200,000 - $400,000 baseWe are working with a growing technology company in New York City that is looking for a Staff Product Manager to join its product organization.This is a high-ownership role for someone who thrives at the intersection of product strategy, technology, and execution. You will work closely with engineering and business stakeholders to identify important problems, define solutions, and take new products and initiatives from initial concept through adoption.The ideal candidate is comfortable operating in ambiguous environments, can communicate effectively with both executives and technical teams, and enjoys turning complex business problems into products that deliver measurable results.What You'll DoOwn product initiatives from strategy and discovery through launch and adoptionIdentify and prioritize high-impact product opportunitiesTranslate complex business requirements into clear product strategies and technical requirementsWork closely with engineering teams to design and deliver new products and capabilitiesDevelop product roadmaps and make prioritization decisions across competing opportunitiesWork directly with stakeholders and users to understand problems, gather feedback, and iterate quicklyDefine success metrics and measure the business impact of product initiativesLead early-stage product development and experimentationHelp identify opportunities to apply emerging technologies to meaningful business problemsDevelop repeatable processes and product practices as the organization scalesWhat We're Looking ForSignificant experience owning complex products or technology initiatives from concept through productionExperience operating at a Staff, Principal, Lead, or comparable level of ownershipStrong product judgment and ability to prioritize effectively in ambiguous environmentsAbility to understand complex technical systems and communicate effectively with engineering teamsExperience working directly with senior business stakeholdersTrack record of launching products and driving measurable outcomesStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsAbility to move quickly while making thoughtful product and technical tradeoffsExperience working in a startup, high-growth technology company, consulting environment, or similarly fast-paced organizationStrong written and verbal communication skillsBachelor's or advanced degree from a strong academic programPreferred QualificationsExperience working on AI, machine learning, or other emerging technology productsPrevious experience as a founder, engineer, technical product manager, or strategy consultantExperience taking products or initiatives from 0-to-1Experience working with complex enterprise products or usersStrong technical aptitude and comfort working closely with software engineersExperience working with senior executives and cross-functional leadership teamsFamiliarity with large language models and modern AI applicationsCompensationThe anticipated base salary range for this position is $200,000 - $400,000 per year, depending on experience and level.This is a full-time position based in New York City.
