Warehouse Operator IThe Warehouse Operator I is essential to ensuring our product leaves our brewery and reaches our consumer with the highest level of quality. Communication, a willingness to learn, and integrity are all key attributes of this position.Job Responsibilities:Responsible for receiving and storing raw materials for use across the company. Including but not limited to brewing, packaging and e-commerce.Handles, stores and prepares for shipping all packaging goods and raw materials without damage.Following the shipping schedule and ensuring all products are ready for pickup.Following delivery schedule and ensure sufficient space is or can be allotted in the warehouse for items expected to arrive.Ensures all inventory is properly labeled and stored according to Athletic, EH&S, and SQF Standards.Arrange warehouse and cold box in an organized fashion and keep all warehouse areas clean at all times.Stages all necessary packaging for production runs based on planning needsUtilizes equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks to manage facility inventory movement, as well as the loading and unloading of transport vehicles, in a safe manner.Safely operate a 26-foot box truck to transport materials and finished goods between facilities.Completes all safety checklists for equipment when beginning their shift.Performs daily inventory audits and inventory spot checks as assigned by warehouse leadership.Demonstrates a professional, solution-oriented, and positive attitude while fostering a productive work environment.Has a flexible, team first approach to work and is comfortable working in different environmentsMaintains overall cleanliness and organization of the entire Warehouse department.Other duties, responsibilities, and activities may change or be assigned at any time with or without notice.Desired Experience & TraitsWho You Are:Personal curiosity in improving skills.Strong time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, listening, critical thinking, verbal and written communication skills.Honest, Dependable, high integrity, team player, and passionate.Skills and Experience:High School Diploma or GED requiredAt least 1 year of related experience and/or training working in a warehouse is required.Certified forklift operator with previous experience in forklift operation required.Valid driver's license with a clean driving record required; must pass company motor vehicle record (MVR) check prior to operating company vehicles.Basic skills in using Excel, Word, email, google sheets required.ERP experience is a plus, especially NetSuite.Must be able to effectively communicate in English both verbally and written.Job Details:Location: Milford, CT San Diego, CASalary: Commensurate with experience - Starting rate: $23Benefits: Company Paid health, vision, dental, life, 401k with 5% company match, and Paid Parental LeaveCommunity Program: In addition to Paid Time Off, all team members receive one paid day per month to dedicate to volunteering activities.We value internal mobility and team equity.We are an equal opportunity employer – we thrive when we champion diversity and inclusion.
