Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced OR RN for a 13-week travel contract at a Level I Trauma teaching hospital in Washington, DC, with on-call requirements.

Details

• Work in the Operating Room of a 228-bed Level I Trauma teaching hospital
• OR environment with 9 rooms
• Day shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 7:30 AM – 8:00 PM
• On-call is required: 2 night calls and 3 weekend calls per month; weeknight call is 11 PM–7 AM, weekend call shifts are 7 AM–3 PM, 3–11 PM, or 11 PM–7 AM
• No floating to other units required
• Charting is performed using SIS

Requirements

• Active DC RN license required
• Current BLS certification required
• OR nursing experience required
• Two professional references required for consideration
• PDF copies of driver's license and Social Security card required for consideration

• Scrubs are provided by the facility
• Hospital is accessible via public transportation; the nearest Metro stop is Shaw/Howard University on the Green and Yellow lines
• Parking is available on-site for a fee or via street meters; cost is the responsibility of the traveler
