About the Position

Job Title: Computed Tomography Technologist Profession: Technologist Specialty: Computed Tomography (CT) Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Shift Hours per Shift: 12 hours (6:00 PM - 6:30 AM) Experience: Minimum of 2 years current Imaging/CT experience License: Active Medical Imaging and Clienttion Therapy License (or equivalent) Certifications: ARRT (CT), BLS (AHA) Must-Have: - ARRT (CT) Certification - Ability to work independently and hit the ground running - IV Skills - Proficiency with MediTech, Phillips, Siemens, AGFA DR, Siemens, OEC C-arm (highly preferred) Description: Under the guidance of the CT clinical supervisor, a trained technologist performs all diagnostic procedures. The technologist should possess knowledge of all pertinent academic areas to produce consistent, high-quality exams. The technologist works effectively with patients and physicians while maintaining a cooperative relationship with interdepartmental personnel. Recognizing that the purpose of employment is to prioritize the patient as number one is essential. The technologist is expected to uphold the highest quality standards in their work. Training will enable the technologist to perform all necessary procedures on patients in all age groups. Travelers who reside within 50 miles of the facility are not eligible for this assignment. Requests for time off during this assignment must be noted and verified prior to submission. No more than 5 days of requested time off will be accepted. Travelers must be available to work during the designated holiday blocks. This community has no public transport, so travelers must have their own vehicle. All scheduling requests must be made at the time of submission. Requests made after the offer may lead to rescinded offers.
