We are excited to present a wonderful opportunity for a dedicated and caring Speech Language Pathology Assistant to join our vibrant team! We're looking for someone who has a solid understanding of speech therapy techniques and a heartfelt passion for helping individuals improve their communication skills. This role offers the fantastic flexibility to work in both our clinic and ABA centers located in Wake Forest.

Responsibilities

• Work alongside our amazing SLP team to create personalized treatment plans that cater to each patient's unique needs and aspirations.
• Put into practice evidence-based speech therapy interventions, focusing on boosting communication abilities.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, educators, and families to provide comprehensive support for patient care.
• Keep accurate documentation of patient progress and treatment outcomes to ensure a smooth continuity of care.
• Educate patients and their families about speech disorders and the therapeutic process to promote understanding and engagement.
• Stay informed about the latest research and best practices in the field of speech-language pathology to enhance our service delivery.

Qualifications

• A valid state licensure or certification as a Speech Language Pathology Assistant.
• Experience working with pediatric populations is a plus, but not mandatory.
• Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology related to speech-language pathology.
• Familiarity with early intervention strategies and patient care practices.
• Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively connect with patients and their families.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team environment, fostering a supportive and effective workplace.
