Manufacturing Trainee (Machinist 1)

Job Overview Manufacturing Trainee (Machinist) – 12‑hour rotating shift in Florence. Entry‑level. No manufacturing experience required. $1,000 Sign‑On Bonus for eligible new hires, paid in two installments per company guidelines. Starting pay $21/hour plus $1/hour shift differential. Two 50‑cent raises possible upon competency assessment. Shift Schedule 5:00 PM to 5:00 AM on a 2/2/3 rotation. 3‑day weekend every other week: Week 1 – off Sunday, work Monday and Tuesday, off Wednesday and Thursday, work Friday and Saturday. Week 2 – work Sunday, off Monday and Tuesday, work Wednesday and Thursday, off Friday and Saturday. Responsibilities Learn and perform multiple aspects of the manufacturing process under supervision, complete competency assessments, attend performance/wage reviews, and contribute to a team‑oriented environment. Qualifications High school diploma or GED. No manufacturing experience required. Positive attitude, willingness to learn, ability to take direction, attention to detail, communication skills, dependability, flexibility for overtime. Physical Requirements Lifting up to 30 lbs. Infrequent pushing/pulling of cart. Positioning material with carts and overhead cranes. Standing/walking up to 8 hours per shift. Close vision for inspection tasks.
