We are hiring a Regional Driver for our Kansas City, MO Depot. This is a great opportunity to drive a consistent route, with a consistent schedule. In this role, you are responsible for driving semi-trailers from master depots to internal shuttle locations and ensuring that products are properly loaded and unloaded to box trucks while meeting designated delivery windows. This position typically returns to the master depot within the same day although some overnights may be required due to supply demands.

Responsibilities:

• Operate semi-trailers between shuttle/warehouse locations; position for loading/unloading.
• Load/unload products using forklifts, pallet jacks, and other equipment.
• Inspect and maintain material handling equipment; keep trucks and equipment clean.
• Verify trailer contents and paperwork using handheld/computer systems.
• Complete daily DVIR and logs; report and resolve any safety issues.
• Maintain a Daily Drivers Log and trip records in compliance of all DOT, FMCSA, and company regulations and requirements.
• Comply with all company safety policies. Perform other yard duties and trips as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Valid Class A CDL and DOT-compliant medical certification required.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant driving experience.
• Knowledge of truck mechanics and basic maintenance.
• Strong backing skills; able to use telematics systems and smartphones for E-Logs.
• Proficient in English (reading, writing, speaking).
• Physically able to sit for long periods, lift/push/pull up to 500 lbs, and work in all weather conditions.

Compensation and Benefits:

The base salary range for this position is $34.00 - $36.00 per hour. The pay range represents the numerous factors considered in the hiring decisions including, but not limited to educations, skills, work experience, certifications, geography etc. As such, starting pay for the successful candidate(s) could fall anywhere within the stated range.
