What You’ll Do as Food & Beverage Supervisor/ Assistant General Manager

Responsibilities

• Leadership : Assist in onboarding, training, and developing all restaurant staff, ensuring an engaged, high-performing team in a fast-paced environment.
• Operational Excellence : Oversee daily front- and back-of-house operations including restaurant, lounge, banquet, catering, and kitchen operations.
• Scheduling & Staffing : Monitor labor productivity and staffing needs throughout each shift, assisting with scheduling and making daily labor adjustments as needed.
• Financial Management : Support the Director of Food and Beverage in daily reporting, inventory, and labor management.
• Guest Safety & Compliance : Enforce food safety, sanitation, and health regulations to maintain a safe and clean restaurant environment.
• Guest Relations : Address guest concerns promptly and professionally in compliance with Holiday Inn brand standards, ensuring every customer leaves satisfied.
• Administrative Duties : Assist with essential paperwork, including equipment maintenance reporting, food safety documentation, employee coaching documentation, and operational audits.

Qualifications

• Experience: Minimum 2 year of restaurant management experience (required).

Required Skills

• Personality : Fun, positive, and energetic with a passion for leading teams in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
• Skills : Knowledge of back-of-house operations, including food production, quality standards, and cleanliness. Strong understanding of front-of-house operations with the ability to support hosts, servers, bartenders, and food runners.
• Communication : Strong communication and leadership skills with the ability to promote collaboration between kitchen staff and service staff.
• Leadership : Deliver performance feedback, setting goals, and fostering a team-oriented culture. Ability to serve as Manager on Duty as assigned.
• Organization : Skills and a strong guest-focused mindset.

Preferred Skills

• Proven success overseeing high-volume shifts and ensuring speed of service in a restaurant.
