Travel Nurse RN - PACU - Post Anesthesia Care - $2,500 per week

Trustaff is seeking a travel nurse RN PACU - Post Anesthesia Care for a travel nursing job in Paducah, Kentucky.

Position Details:

PACU RN

Locals not accepted

Dysrhythmia exam required

Required Certs: ACLS, PALS, BLS

Minimum 1 year of PACU experience required

Schedule/Shift: 10:00 - 20:30 (4x a week Monday-Friday - Rotating Day Off) - Unable to accommodate 3-12 HR shifts May accommodate blocked scheduling - manager to review and decide

On-Call Requirements: 1-2 weekday calls (2030 - 0700) per week and every 4th weekend (Sat 0700 - Mon 0700)

Unit Details:

14 PACU bays

Patient Population: Ortho, General, Vascular, Pulmonary, OB/Gyn, ENT, Neuro, GU, GI, and Cath lab procedures such as structural heart, watchman and ablation (Unit does not recover C-Sections or CABG's)

Skill Set: Comprehensive care of pt in Phase 1 setting, to include exceptional airway management, hemodynamic monitoring/maintenance and critical thinking

Equipment: Ventilators, VSS monitoring equip

Patient Ratios: 1:1 for critical pts or children. 2:1 acute Pase 1 pts. 3:1 Phase 1 pts w/ stable pts just waiting on a room (uncommon)

Drips: All

Oxygen: All levels of oxygen to include on occasional extubation
