Also directs and guides patient teaching, activities of ancillary personnel, while maintaining standards of professional nursing. Functions within the Nurse Practice Act of the State of New Mexico, as well as the policies and procedures of the Cibola General Hospital.RequirementsEducation/Licensure Requirements:Current New Mexico RN license or compact state RN license Current BLS CPR certification ACLS and PALS preferredNRP certification within 9 months. Completion of fetal monitoring course within 6 months. NRP and fetal monitoring must remain current following initial acquisition. Adequately assess/care for antepartum, labor, delivery, recovery and post-partum care. Competency with newborn assessment and care.
