As a Security Officer Access Control Representative in Wilmer, TX , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. Join Allied Universal at a dynamic manufacturing and industrial location, where you will monitor entry points, verify credentials, and support access control operations while remaining visible throughout assigned areas. Pay Rate: $19.54 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out site-specific access control procedures, credential checks, and other security-related policies at the location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify identification and/or visitor authorization, and help to deter unauthorized access to restricted manufacturing and industrial areas.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting activity and communicating with site contacts as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business, perimeter, parking areas, and access points, with attention to security-related concerns that may arise in the working environment.
• Support vehicle and delivery access procedures by confirming approvals, observing incoming and outgoing traffic, and reporting unusual activity, maintenance concerns, and/or policy violations.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 6 months of security-related experience.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• CPR and/or First Aid is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
