Responsibilities include coordinating practices, establishing routines, and assisting at competitions. The coach must be able to teach a wide array of participants from beginners to experienced competitive dancers and properly instruct fundamentals and advanced technique. Administrative duties: support club leadership with short‑ and long‑term goals, develop action plans for the academic year, and perform other duties as assigned to support the department, division, and university. Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree preferred. Minimum of intercollegiate or professional competition experience and/or professional coaching experience. High School Graduate/GED required. Effective communication with a diverse student population. Demonstrated leadership, organizational skills, and coaching experience at the collegiate club level. Hourly wage: $30.00 – $50.00 per hour. Seasonal, hourly, part‑time position typically from September through May. Travel may be required for some competitions. Practices typically once a week September through May, with 1–4 competitions during the season. Typical schedule 2–4 hours weekly during class sessions, sometimes more during competition season.
