Direct Support Professional (DSP)
Location: Industry, PA 15052
Position Type: Contract
Compensation: Up to $16.60/hour
Schedule: Flexible, with options for overnight shifts and weekends

Requirements:

• A current and valid driver's license (required for community-based homes)
• Related experience is helpful
• A verifiable high school diploma or GED is preferred

Position Summary:
We are seeking caring, compassionate, and energetic Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to support individuals with Developmental Disabilities. You will provide individualized care and assist with activities of daily living, promote independence, and encourage participation in community and recreational activities.

This position is performed under the supervision of a higher-level supervisor, with work reviewed through daily observations, reports, and periodic check-ins. Staff will be required to follow a designated shift routine as outlined by the supervisor.

Responsibilities:

• Assist individuals with daily living tasks
• Provide personal care and hygiene support
• Transport and accompany individuals to medical appointments or community outings
• Administer simple prescribed medications (if certified)
• Maintain accurate service logs and documentation
• Provide companionship and emotional support
• Help ensure a safe, clean, and supportive living environment
