We’re hiring a Buyer for a growing production operation supporting high-tech, energy, and infrastructure markets. As a Buyer, you’ll play a key role in sourcing materials, equipment, services, and supplies that support manufacturing operations. You’ll work closely with internal teams to evaluate needs, manage supplier performance, and ensure smooth, cost-effective purchasing. Key Responsibilities Lead sourcing efforts including supplier identification, contract negotiations, and market research. Manage supplier relationships and performance to meet cost, quality, and delivery expectations. Monitor industry trends, pricing changes, and external risks that may impact procurement. Collaborate with internal teams to align purchasing strategies with operational goals. Support capital projects with strategic sourcing and contracting. Use SAP and Power BI to improve procurement visibility and drive data-informed decisions. Identify and implement cost-saving and process improvement initiatives. Ensure compliance with company policies, legal standards, and ethical procurement practices. Integrate sustainability and risk management into supplier strategies. Drive continuous improvement across sourcing and supply chain operations. The ideal candidate will have: 5+ years of relevant experience within manufacturing or industrial environments. Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain, or a related field preferred (or equivalent experience). Proficiency with SAP and familiarity with Power BI or similar tools. Strong negotiation, vendor management, and contract execution skills. Experience supporting construction or capital project purchasing is a plus. Strong communication, analytical, and project coordination abilities.
