Echo Ultrasound Tech - Cardiac Sonographer

Join our team as an Echo Ultrasound Tech / Cardiac Sonographer / Echo Technologist in Redding, CA. Use your expertise to operate and maintain ultrasound equipment, compassionately prepare patients for echocardiogram procedures, and produce detailed images of the heart for interpretation by healthcare teams. This role supports inpatient and scheduled cardiac imaging services in a hospital setting. Candidates must be prepared to work a rotating schedule that includes weekend coverage and possible on-call responsibility.

Minimum Requirements:

• National certification from the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) or Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI).
• Minimum of 2 years of echocardiography or cardiac sonography experience in a hospital or acute care environment.
• BLS certification.
• Demonstrated experience performing adult transthoracic echocardiograms and producing diagnostic-quality images for cardiology interpretation.
• Ability to operate ultrasound/Echo equipment and work with electronic medical record systems.
• Must have all necessary licenses and certifications required to practice in California.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with stress echocardiography and transesophageal echo assistance preferred.
• Prior experience in a high-volume cardiology or tertiary care center preferred.

Assignment Details

• Shift hours: 07:00-19:30.
• Scheduled weekend coverage (Sat/Sun/Mon) as part of rotation.
• On-call duties may be required.
