Personal Care Assistant

$14 - $19 per hour

University Home Care

University Home Care Inc is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Care Assistant to provide high-quality support to clients in Oxford, MI. This role involves assisting individuals with daily living activities to promote their independence and well-being.
Responsibilities

Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and hygiene.
Help with mobility and transfer assistance as needed.
Support clients with meal preparation and feeding.
Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.
Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for clients.
Document care provided and report any changes in client condition to supervisors.
Follow care plans and instructions from healthcare professionals.

Requirements

Previous experience in personal care or a related field is a plus.
Compassionate, patient, and reliable with strong interpersonal skills.
Ability to follow instructions and work independently.
Basic knowledge of household safety and hygiene practices.
Must be able to pass background checks.
