Job Title: Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) – Travel Assignment
Location: Roswell, NM 88201
Contract Duration: 8 Weeks

Job Summary

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for an 8-week travel assignment in Roswell, NM. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN) or physician. This role requires a patient-focused professional committed to delivering safe, effective, and timely care.

Key Responsibilities

Provide direct patient care, including monitoring vital signs, performing wound care, and assisting with daily living activities
Administer prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with established protocols
Accurately document patient information in electronic medical records (EMR)
Assist physicians and RNs during examinations and medical procedures
Educate patients and their families on care plans, medications, and preventive healthcare practices
Ensure compliance with infection control standards, safety guidelines, and healthcare regulations
Respond promptly to patient needs and changes in condition

Qualifications

Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in New Mexico or Compact State License (Required)
Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience preferred
Current BLS/CPR certification (Required)
Experience with EMR systems and clinical documentation
Strong communication, organizational, and teamwork skills
Compassionate approach with a commitment to high-quality patient care
